It's been over a year since...

It's been over a year since my last review of Showgirls, but doesn't seem much has changed. I had a couple of surgeries last year curtailed my club visits.

In my last review I said, "On entering, my first impression was, "Where are all the people?" That was the same. Granted, a Sunday afternoon, but other clubs are not empty! I saw no other customers. Two < I think dancers sitting at the bar talking, and that is all they did while I sat a few seats away. The only words address to me were by the barmaid. The what would like words. I ordered a beer which she brought. No further contact of any type from her. A "manager" or some guy in a tie walked by, I nodded my head and gave a hello. No response. It was like a zombie "club". May have been another dancer I saw as I walked in, but she went to the back never to be seen again. One other guy, I thought maybe the cook or DJ. Didn't do anything that I could tell what his purpose was.

I should have known it wasn't going to be a good visit when no dancer was onstage when I entered. Never a good sign! As I said in my last review, "I don't think it a Sunday thing, since I often visit this club on a Sunday. I'll have to stop in again and see if this was just a one off visit or the new norm." Seems the norm. I just put my cash back in my pocket and left after the single beer.
