There are two types of strip club in London: 1) The pound-in-a-mug join that's frequented by guys on a stop-over on their way to somewhere better and 2) the corporate table venue that caters for hordes of post-work suited professionals and pay-day drunks. The Griffin falls into the former category and provides a nice, hassle-free environment to enjoy an hour or so in the company of mainly friendly, mainly Eastern European young ladies.

The dancers make little effort and the dances are hardly inspiring but for a couple of quid in a pint jug I guess it's hard to get motivated. Don't go here expecting full-on exotic entertainment and, unless you've just spent the last six months on a nuclear sub, don't expect to get aroused either. But if you want to de-stress with a couple of pints watching girls get naked after a tough meeting then I can highly recommend The Griffin.

Quality of the dancers was pretty good on the night I went and, at around 6pm, it was busy enough to keep the dancers engaged but quiet enough to get a seat at the bar. Private dances vary on the dancer but, again, don't expect anything special, although it feels a bit more personal than some of the bigger corporate venues.
