This review is for the Saturday...

This review is for the Saturday after thanksgiving. I arrived sometime before valet parking was in effect - probably around 12:30 pm. This is also before the buffet begins, for those of you interested in that sort of thing. I'm sure the food is decent but I have a difficult time eating food at a strip club - somethings are best enjoyed separately. I made my way over to the right side of the club and greeted Shadowcat. I expected the club to be a little slow as it was right after thanksgiving and I was right. The talent pool was perhaps the lowest I've seen at follies in sometime but I'll attribute it to dancers being out of town for the holiday. There were plenty of girls making their rounds but I only found a couple especially attractive.

I had a run in with a ROB named Rose - short light skinned black girl with freckles. From personal experience and what I've heard from another customer she will try to convince you that dances in the couch are $20/song. Rose stated that she has been working at follies for at least 3 years. I found her attractive and she gave good dances but she definitely tried to rip me off. After about 5 dances in the couches she asked if I wanted to continue and stated that dances in the couch were $20/per song. She insisted that $20/song was the going rate in the couch area and she was obligated to charge me that rate. Had she told me that upfront I would have refused to get any dances from her. She'll wait until you've committed to a few dances before mentioning the rate. She puts up a tough front and will even volunteer to call the manager over to confirm the rate. If you run into her or anyone running this scheme, hold firm. Get the manager involved if needed. These girls can charge whatever price they want but when it deviates from the standard $10/song they should tell you upfront. Even the manager agreed.

Despite the bad experience with Rose and the lower overall talent, I will return. Follies is still the best in town. A bad day at Follies is still better than the best other clubs have to offer.
