I recently moved to the area...

I recently moved to the area and heard of all the nice clubs that were around. I happened to drive by this one during my move, so I figured I'd give it a go. It was in a really ghetto strip mall, was identifiable by a neon purple sign bearing the club's name and it's entrance was a silver, steel door. Upon entering, the place was completely dead. The bartender and the one dancer I saw were sitting down watching television with the one patron in the bar. I sat down and ordered a Miller Lite. At $4 a drink ($11 for a 3 bottle "bucket"), I'd have expected much more, but this was what they were selling. A few moments later, another dancer emerged from the back room along with the bouncer. Not sure what they'd been doing, but it didn't seem kosher.

One of the "girls" had to be in her 40s, was somewhat overweight and had the face of a lifetime smoker. The other girl, who was a bit more attractive, was nothing to shake a stick at. She looked to be in 20s, but was not fit, showed stretch marks and her hair looked as if it'd been treated almost to the point of falling out. The atmosphere was already terrible and the two girls working on a Friday afternoon gave me even less of a reason to stay.

I stuck around for the time it took me to drink my beer and, as a slow drinker, this was almost an hour. During this time, both girls did two songs a piece, one with their attire on and the next fully nude. After each dance, they walked around and asked for a tip, one of my pet peeves. Their dances were uninspired and I didn't deem them worthy of my hard earned money, but I did give each of them a few dollars.
