I went to Temptations on a Friday night around 9:30pm to spend time with one of my stripper friends from the Yellowhammer State who happened to be working here. The first time I entered, there was no cover. After running out to grab a bite to eat and returning around 11pm, I was charged a $5 cover at the door. There is a square stage on the right side of the room with one pole. A small satellite stage near the window up front also exists, but was not in use. The inside of the club is very worn and dirty; it looks like no money gets put back into the facility. I ordered a bottle of water, and it was $6. The ugly old waitress, Dakota, got angry at me because I did not give her a tip before she went to get the bottle of water from the bar. Last time I checked, tips were given after a service was rendered. If you go, make sure you get service from one of the younger waitresses. The club also has hookah smoking. As a result, a lot of young guys were in attendance smoking hookah, but not spending much on the hookers. The inside of the club is very poorly ventilated.
The dancers at the club ran the gamut from attractive to ugly. About forty percent were chocolate. The other sixty percent were vanilla or Latina. Lap dance are $40 each or 3/$100 in a communal room in the courtyard. A half hour VIP in a private room in the courtyard was $300 or $350; I had heard both prices quoted. Like a lot of strip clubs in this conglomerate, there are a lot of drug users working here. I would find out during my visit that the stripper I visited deals drugs to some of the dancers at the club. Management doesn’t really give a shit what goes on as long as they get their money. Two years ago, a dancer left this club with a couple customers and was found dismembered in the Gulf of Mexico the following day. I would not return to Temptations any time soon.
