This is a well-furnished BYOB 2-stage club that used to be called Links that still needs direction. Similar to Daisy Dooks, some dancers went nude some did not. I went out to it on its opening night and followed up a week later to compare. Opening night it was packed, the following week on Saturday it was slow, but it did finally start to fill up late. The club has never reached its potential and the new name and owners hasn’t helped. They have plenty of sexy dancers, and on opening they had several road girls dancing too. First night they were using both stages (one song then transfer to the next stage) and could not get any continuity between sets. Many of the dancers never made it too the second stage until after the next song was half over. The next week, still plenty of hot dancers, but they were all dancing on one stage, 2 songs per set (a better format), but still couldn’t get the girls on stage timely. Opening was standing room only, 9/15 most of the customers were setting at the tables and only a handful at the stage. Saturday, 9/15, the stage shows did not start until after 8:00 pm though they supposedly opend at 5:00 pm. The stage shows were better than Dooks and Tux’s, including some pole tricks, not as bodacious as SoCo. Most go around the room and do excellent dollar dances, the way Tux’s used to perform them. Despite that I never once was approached, or during any of the dollar dances, for private dances. Management needs to figure it out fast, because they have some good potential there and the goods dancers leave if they aren’t making cash. And with big money clubs like SoCo, Dooks and Shakers all close, ambitious talent has a lot of local options.
