This is one odd club. It has its good points and its bad points, and it's definitely unusual.

The best thing about Kuma Charmers is the girls--as it should be. I was there on a Thursday night, and there were four dancers--all of them beautiful--two in particular. The dancers are referred to as charmers. Although the description is contrived, the dancers were definitely very sweet and charming. They danced two-song sets, which means they get down to business quickly in taking off their clothes--a plus, in my book.

There's one large room with two stages that's walled off from the bar area. This means that if you want to step away from the stage and order a soft drink--it's NYS, so there's no alcohol in nude clubs--you can't see the girls, even at a distance. There are also numerous signs around the place telling you that you're not allowed to touch the girls. The signs also tell you that cameras and assholes are not allowed, and that you must tip at the stage when the girls show their boobs and vaginas (yes, that's what the signs say). All those signs and warnings give the place an amateurish feel. And, frankly, It's simply heavy-handed to put up a wall between the bar area and the stages, something I've never seen at other clubs.
