Decided to visit what I had hoped would be the premier strip club for Maine (which shouldn't be hard considering there are only five to choose from). The club is very easily accessed from I-95, and from the outside presents an impressive, if faded, facade. Parking is plentiful. Cover charge this day, a hair before 5pm on a Saturday, was $10. I was told there was a special event happening later in the evening, midget wrestling (WTF?), which accounted for the outrageous fee. Going through the doors into the club proper you are immediately blind due to the extreme darkness inside. I had to search for the bar area, which is tucked into the corner, almost hidden away. Happy hour beer prices (imported) were $4.50. Many girls seemed to be working their regulars, but perhaps it was merely that there were only ~10 customers to begin with. This is a large club and they had ample staff for it. I was approached shortly by an attractive mixed girl (who never gave me her 'name') who was happy to chat for a half-hour or so before pushing a dance. I also offered a drink, to which she accepted. Her mixed drink came to $3.50, very reasonable, especially for a 'girl drink'. The LD area is segregated, and there is a (one-time) $5 entry fee, for which you get a bracelet and coupon for free admission to the club next visit. Still, this is the only place I've seen that charges a fee for regular lap dances, which are already overpriced at $25. My cute stripper gave a good dance, but I wasn't going to stay long enough to see what the bounds were. I suspect that in Champagne mileage would be higher, but probably not any extras.

This is a good club if you have a lot of cash to burn, it's terrible if you're looking for a place to drink that coincidentally offers naked women on stage.
