I have been going to Platinum Showgirls, on and off, for several years now. Over the past year or so the club has been redesigned as more "up-scale." From what I understand this was more of a necessity from the local government than by choice. Unfortunately, although the club looks better, the overall experience has declined significantly.

As has been mentioned in other reviews, you have to shell out money to the parking guy and the bouncer before you ever order one of their expensive drinks. When you buy a drink for one of the girls, for example, expect to shell out $10 - $15.

The lap dance room, with its numerous couches, has been eliminated. In their place are the hardest bench seats that I think I have ever been on in a club that line the walls of the club. They remind me of church pews - extremely uncomfortable. There simply is no way to get comfortable for the $20 / song lap dances. As long as we are on lap dances, your hands must stay by your sides - no touching.
