The New Porthole?

I haven't been to this club in over a decade. Mainly because when I used to live down here, it was out the way. It's located in a plaza next to a Hooters on one side and restaurants on the other side, so some options if you don't want to eat the food that they offer there. This club is sneaky big. Like there are two sides to the club, but one side is usually closed during the day. You walk in the entrance an the host is ready to take your money. They charge $2 to get in and the price increases the later it gets according to the hostess. After a quick pat down I enter the club.

Whoa! Completely remodeled. The tacky wood bar and old stools gone. Replaced with a modern blacktop bar with comfortable seats. I remember the old bar had a tip walk where the dancers, would walk on the bar and ask for tips. I didn't like that at all. Glad to see that has stopped. This place was completely renovated. The stage is new. They added two VIP sections including a bar in one of them. The decor is black from the stage to the seats. They even have a mini stage next to the main bar. I took a seat at the main bar and asked for Don Julio Repo shot and a Bud light. $25 for both $18 for the Tequila and $7 for the beer and I was like damn. Price wasn't super bad for South FL, but I was like no special during the day? The bartender yes it's 2 for 1. My eyes bulged. I was happy at this point. This reminds me of Tootsies my home club that would do the similar with half priced drinks during the day.

The place wasn't packed but not empty either. I'm sipping my drink and looking at the talent. It's horrible. I counted seven girls. A mix of fat white girls, black and Cuban girls. Not all were fat, there was one cute petite Latina but she was sitting with some one. I'm enjoying my drinks so not quite unhappy because I like the drink special. Moments later I feel a dancer grab me and say "Hey You!". I looked and it was this sexy Dominicana spinner that I used to have fun with at Porthole a few years back. Now I was REALLY HAPPY! We caught up and talked. I told her my situation of getting kicked out of Porthole and that I wouldn't be going there again. Plus the talent sucks now. She informed me that quite a few dancers from Porthole are working there and the customers . I was like really? Where are they at today? I don't see anyone. lol She said it's not consistent but they definitely pop in.
