After a jetski jaunt down the river, I decided to make an afternoon stop to Club Risque on Rt 413 in Bristol. Not a lot of cars in the lot mid afternoon, but sometimes that runs in my favor, so I still decided to pay a visit. I hadn't been to the Risque in over a year, and little has changed other than numerically fewer faces. Nice bar, good music, and the drinks are of good value during the afternoon. But, that's about it, at least this day. So I got a beer from a hot and friendly bartender, and proceeded to wait. It took most of 15 minutes before any of the ladies made the rounds around the bar for their "tip". Eventually a pretty cute and enhanced brunette came by, small talked, and asked me if I would like a "better" dance in the back. Seizing this slow-to-arrive opportunity, I complied, but when escorted back, I was led to a not-so-private bench where I sensed little ingenuity would take place, and I was right. Between the lighting, the seating arrangements, and the doorman I called it quits after two modest contact dances. And since there were much more private seating options in the corners and back, I believe ymmv depending on where you are led. I think I gotta stop the afternoon visits.
