The only strip club left in...

The only strip club left in Rock Island is holding its own, in spite of a draconian City government and stiff competition (pun intended) from across the Mississippi River in the Davenport, Iowa area. The area is is bit run-down, but well lit at night with plenty of on-street parking. When you walk in through the vestibule, you enter a bar area where there was no activity the night I stopped in to visit. A chap wearing a Body Shop t-shirt with Security added to it was pleasant as he took my $5.00 cover charge. I made a quick stop in the men's room (fairly clean, but no soap or paper towels), then went into the main room of the Body Shop.<br>

The main room of the body shop has a rectangular bar at the entrance with a delightfully friendly bartender working on inside. One apparently regular customer was sitting at the bar. The bartender said the place would have many patrons come in after 2:00 when the Iowa clubs close. The room is somewhat confusing at first due to the number of mirrors on multiple walls. Even stone sober, it takes a while to decide how big the room actually is, what is a reflection, and what is real. The large, multilevel stage is on the opposite end of the room.<br>

There was one dancer working. Alexis was a slim, younger woman with an attractive, cute face. She did a couple of stage dances, never taking off more than her tube top. Low and behold, she had pasties on her nipples. She never took off her panties or g-string. After two dances, she disappeared for a few minutes. Eventually she came out to the bar and sat beside me. We chatted for a few minutes, the went to the private area for some dances. The private area has some rooms with comfortable leather couches. A camera had its ominous eye on us from the corner. Alexis was cordial, but well aware of the no-touch rules in place. I still enjoyed my time with her.<br>
