I've been going to this club...

I've been going to this club off and on for at least ten years. When it opened, it was absolutely the best club in all of Kansas City, but now it's a shadow of its former self. A dancer there told me that the current owners hire inexperienced girls and push them hard to get dances and fire them quickly if they don't earn. I see this in the inexperience and unfriendliness of the current staff. They are on you like bees as soon as you sit down....it's like they're racing the capture the available customers, which, on the night I was there, only numbered about ten in this fairly large club. I told the first dancer that approached me that I needed to settle-in a little before I got any dances, and she actually made the fingers-to-forehead sign for "loser" in response to my polite statement. The girls were of fair quality, with none really below my personal rating of "7". The music and sound system are good, and the club was clean. I did finally get a dance with a brunette woman, but she seemed to be about as interested in doing the dance as doing the dishes. After two of these very mediocre dances, she asked me to get a $200 per half-hour private VIP room, which I politely declined. At this, she got visibly angry, and rudely held out her hand for her money for the two dances. I paid her the agreed-upon minimum, and she stormed off. For the record, I'm anything but an unpleasant customer; I'm in great shape, 40-ish, squeaky-clean, usually tip generously, and never touch or take advantage of a dancer in any way. I had about $700 with me that night, and was ready....even hoping.....to find an entertainer that would compel me to spend it all. This club has so much potential, they just need to train their newbie dancers how to hustle and make their customers want to spend and return.
