Visited the Bottoms up in the...

Visited the Bottoms up in the early evening on a Saturday. Full bar with a small stage across from the bar. Several girls, 6-8's. Admission is 5 GBP, dances are 10 GBP. It was not very crowded compared to the Burke & Hare. The girls are moderately friendly and will chat for a bit before they ask for a private dance. Lap dances held in private rooms. NO touching. The rooms are monitored via CCTV. See the movie "Closer" to get an idea. Girls will go full nude in private room, but you cannot touch at all. Unlike other places in the States the girls dance on stage for free-no tips, so they don't dance until it gets crowded and they generally did not do a full strip, at least when I was there. The girls are better looking that B&H and apparently the management has a "no piercings" rule for hires. I had a very nice time with Torri, a local gal. The bouncer was friendly, the barman was helpful and talkative. There is a "sauna/massage" parlor next door for those with more advanced entertainment ideas....

The location is very convienent, being on Lothian, but not the kind of place you can duck in without being seen by a lot of folks, including tour buses.

I recommend the place as one of the better expereinces I had in Edinburgh.
