You may be tired of seeing my reviews of the Rhino, but I do go there once a month or so and have seen the ups and downs of this club. Ups include (A) having some of the best looking dancers in all of Lexington, (B) a variety of rooms for lap dances ranging from benches in one room for topless dances to separated chairs for nude, to curtained private rooms for "fantasy" and VIP. They also have (C) a nice set of bar deals depending on the night you go, including a beer/burger deal where you get burger, fries and a beer for $2.75 (cheaper than the beer at most places) before 6PM. So now on to a few issues discovered only recently. The music has been playing very loud the last two visits making conversations difficult at best. I like to chat with a few ladies before I find them grinding on my lap in the back rooms. Second, they have now changed the VIP/Fantasy area so that curtains stay up for the fantasy dances. These are usually 2 or 3 dances for $60 (and some other specials that might include 3 for $50 or 4 for $80) and in the past were quite private with a closed curtain. This meant as you might expect, you could get some decent mileage from these dances. Now with open curtain, anyone can stroll past, including the bouncer pretty regularly. This doesn't stop all two-way contact but it certainly dampens it. The dancer i was with told me it was because some girl was caught blowing a guy a week before back there. Shame that a club has to punish us all for a girl only doing what many guys hoped would happen back there anyhow! I think as long as you talk a bit about what you are going back to the fantasy room for, you will probably be happy. The VIP area used to be behind a roped off area but that is now for bottle service only. Basically it is like they raised the prices a lot. Kind of a shame since 30 min of VIP costs $200 + tip. Be sure you are going to get what you want before you agree to those payments. The girl that I was with this night was named Rocky. We did a fantasy dance or two and then drank some booze before doing a VIP. Contact was very generous and my hands had an all-access pass however she seemed more constrained and kept my little friend all zipped up for the full 30 min. Not a bad time but maybe not worth investing nearly $350 on this lady. She was nice and fun but it was not a cheap night. I wish the curtains would come back for the lower priced fantasy dances. Might make me rethink some of my clubbbng habits.
