Sad club in a sad town

Was passing through Lexington during a road trip and decided to check out the clubs in the area. We decided on the pony but that may have been a mistake.

Went in on a Friday night with a friend, cover was $11. We were wanded at the door and purses were checked. When you walk in there’s a low bar all along the left hand side. No alcohol. Lap dance “cubbies” run along both sides of the club. Main stage is to the right with seating in the middle of the club. Small satellite stage towards the back. VIP was a room off to the side with more cubbies plus a shower.

The stage has 3 poles and needs a major update, I could hear squeaking while girls danced around them, it was almost comical. There were about 7 girls working when I was there. Black, white and Cuban. I’m going to be honest, besides the Cuban gal, the girls were not my type (too young). Some were sweet, others seemed bored. Lap dances were $20 (no wonder these girls aren't having fun) and no contact. I ended up doing 3 dances. I liked the small cubbies because they felt private. No contact from my end but good touching from the dancer. She offered VIP but I wasn’t interested so I don’t have the prices. We tipped some more on stage and headed out.

The energy was overall sad. We came and left pretty quickly. The club seemed unkept and I honestly felt bad for the girls. I would definitely skip next time I’m in the area. Apparently the club next door (cowboys? Cheetahs?) is better.
