It's been over 8 months since...

It's been over 8 months since I last visited Fox's. Decided to check it out again. Things are the same from the outside, parking lot still brightly lit, plenty of parking spaces. A quick ID check and pat down and I'm in. Once inside, the place looked totally different. As soon as you walked in, to your right used to be a stage. That's gone now and it's all sealed up for what looks like private VIP area. Straight up is still where restrooms are; don't recall anything different about them. To your left is a new main stage with blue neon lights around. Behind that used to be sealed up where the shower is. The walls came down and the shower is still there surrounded by more couches and seats. Directly across the main stage is a smaller evaluated stage where VIP couches are. A remodeled full bar and what looks like kitchen right next to it. Don't recall if they used to serve food so this is new. Cover charge was $10 on a Tuesday night; don't recall paying that much last time. Drinks were overpricing too, the drink I got was $12 I believe and now they serve it in a small dinky plastic cup. The good news is they do run drink specials till midnight. Not too many dancers on shift tonight, some of them seem to have already changed to street clothes. Dancer quality was definitely low tonight, just when I was getting bored and about to leave; One very cute and young looking dancer came by. Layla's the name, she was drinking some sort of kid's Kool-Aid bursts which she shared. Very fun personality, she ordered some drink special cranberry thing that was only 4 bucks. Had to wait to get dances from her as she was constantly called back on stage. Finally went up to the evaluated VIP couches area, it's not private at all and we were right by the cashier which is awkward. Her dances were very energetic, not that it's a bad thing but I prefer more slow/intimate dances. At $10 a dance it was a good value. In summary, Fox's remodeled but they've raised cover and drink prices. Floor dance and VIP dances are still a good value.
