Edinburgh on a business trip with time to kill before my flight home so paid the Western Bar a visit. Very small and intimate place. You go in and the bar is immediately to the right with enough space for about 10 customers. There are a few tables dotted about but not a lot of room. Thankfully I was there at about 4.30 on a Thursday so it wasn't that busy. God knows what it would be like on a Saturday match day.

The atmosphere is pretty chilled and the drinks are pub prices. There was a small stage ahead of 3 or 4 private cubicles. There was a show every 15 minutes I guess, which was pretty standard stuff. Nothing special but good enough to keep you entertained. The girls circulate after the dance but they are not pushy. Private dances are what this place is about though so you would be foolish not to try.

I had 3 private dances when I was there for £10 a song. If you pay £20 up front you are likely to get longer and a decent show. I had two dances from Easter European girls and one from a local Scot. The Scot was very chatty and very friendly. The dances end up naked with quite a bit of grinding but no touching sadly, although the Scottish lass did let me run my hands up and down her legs and back but nowhere intimate.
