I finally made it to the...

I finally made it to the legendary Brad's. And while I can't say that after this visit that it's one of my favorite clubs, I will say that I had enough of a good time where I'll be back.

I got there Sunday afternoon and found that the parking lot was fairly packed. Made my way in and used the free cover coupon from the site. Turns out that a majority of the cars were strippers (usually a good thing) there for a baby shower for one of the other strippers. Classy. I will say that when I sat down they were nice enough to offer me cake and chicken that they had catered. I passed and took a seat in the back to watch the stage show. However, I had to do a little seat hopping before I found the perfect perch to view all all the debauchery. Pillars around the stage make it hard to see the dancers depending on where you plant your ass. The crowd were all older trucker types, with a few younger blue collar guys thrown in there.

I got there when the day shift was still there. And sweet Charlie Daniels were they horrible. While they were easy on the eyes, they weren't going up to talk to anyone and seemed just miserable. You know things were bad when the DJ got on the loud speaker and said that there were "too many empty seats" at the stage. On top of that he said that "house fees double after 7 pm". And that "there are some ladies that haven't paid house fees." That's the first time I ever heard that announced to the crowd at any strip club. I get they were trying to evoke sympathy from the crowd so we'd start throwing money at the girls, but that was ridiculous. Unfortunately for the girls it didn't work. Men continued watching football on the bevy of tvs lining the top of the stage. TVs right above the stage could be considered bad by some, but I thought it was smart. That way guys can shift their eyes from the tvs to the dancers with ease. At that point the best part of my visit so far had been the personal pitcher of Sun King Cream Ale for only $7.50! That's probably one of the best deals I've ever seen at a titty bar.
