Made a Tuesday night trip to a Miami strip club mainstay - the Mint Lounge. I am not going to get into layout as it has been covered in previous reviews. The Mint is the club you go to - to relax with what will be primarily black dancers. Most of the dancers are laid back and cool to talk to. They are also for the most part dancers that are on the B team of Miami strippers with one or two high end girls on shift. When they can't work at Tootsies or the Office - they are likely to end up at the Mint. Almost all of the girls have huge buts (many fake) and most are slightly over weight. On this night it was especially rough. Really did not see one well proportioned dancer. Front door staff and bar staff were very friendly as usual. I had one beer and hung around for about a half hour. I was just about to head out the door when I was approached by one of the few if not the only slim girls in the club. She was a 6 at best but she really had a friendly unassuming way about her. In a higher end club I probably would have rejected her - but to be honest she turned me on with her personality and decent looks. Sounds lame but it happens every once in a while to us neanderthal men! So went to the back room with this lady - $5 dances but tipped her equivalent to $10 a dance and had a very nice time. She was real sweet and gave a hell of a dance - that's just it - what you can expect from the Mint. You are not going to be short changed. The Mint can be rough on weekends with a younger clientele/thug atmosphere - so I would recommend the weekdays - the earlier the better. If you go with the right expectations - it is a good time club.
