Not inspired. Friday night, 11pm and the place is half full. They have continued to clean the bar up a bit- the entrance was repainted, all the crappy signs are gone, even the sound and the lights all seem to be working. Doesn't matter. Being a nightclub DJ for over 10 years, this place is being killed by management's inability to find a good DJ. It's a Rock and Roll bar- yea I get it. They don't want a black clientele in a black neighborhood- yea I get it. The music sounds like Rock and Roll, but I couldn't recognize a damn tune he played. I listen to several rock stations daily. Talking to a regular rail rider there, he told me there has been a lot of Satanic music being played. This place used to be the place to go when you didn't want to go to a disco topless bar. They girls really didn't get into dancing there. You get the impression that the managers are only going to make the owner happy- so forget about the clientele being happy. Must be a tax write off or something. Always seems to be a heavy turnover in management and waitresses here.

There was a little over a dozen girls there. Smoking is banned in Michigan, but many dancers walked around with cigarettes going. There where a few really young, cute girls that could dance and were entertaining. They were getting pretty good tips. The rest just sat, smoked and drank with the same guys. 2 older girls approached stopped to chat at different times, but made it obvious they were just in a hurry to get the money. Mostly white girls tonight, and a couple of black girls. No Asians or Latinas that I could see. Left at 12:15pm.
