I've driven by the Kentucky Klub...

I've driven by the Kentucky Klub a number of times during my visits to Indianapolis but was always a bit leary, given the lack of cars there, the deserted feel to it, and just blinking and missing it many times. However, this time, I found it and gave it a shot...regrettably.

To be honest, I tried to visit the Kentucky Klub twice. The first was late night on a Wednesday. Ads say the club's supposed to be open Wednesday-Saturday, but when I found only one truck in the lot and the doors locked, I had to wonder about that. I even called, but no one, not even a machine, picked up.

Friday night wound up opening up for me, but before I spent the time to drive over there, I called. A guy picked up. "Hello?"
