I went to this club for the first time a few months ago while in Birmingham for work. The building itself is first class all the way and rivals any club I've ever been in including Vegas. It's several levels high and has numerous seating areas that are basically semi-private because it's so big. I got there about 9pm and it didn't pick up until around 11pm. Up until that time all the action was at one stage and bar on the first floor. The place is so large it felt empty and dancers kind of appeared and disappeared into it's vast space. The one I ended hanging out with I found by chance when she walked past the area I had moved to on one of the higher levels.I took a cab from the hotel and when I left I had to wait for what seemed forever to get a cab back. If I ever go back again I will definitely use a car service. I'm not exactly sure about the history behind this club but the feeling I got is it was built when Alabama was starting to loosen up some and then took a hit when the more ultra conservatives took control of the state again. The dancers and staff were pretty friendly and if the State ever loosens up again this would be a great place to go.
