2nd Try was better
Stopped by the Pony for the 2nd time while in Davenport in a Saturday evening. Arrived slightly after 10pm and paid a $10 cover to get in (had a card for 1/2 price). I was extremely disappointed on my last visit a couple of months ago. There were only 5 or 6 girls dancing and hardly anybody was there on a Saturday night. This time, it was a different experience. There was 12 to 15 girls dancing (it seemed as a couple arrived after 10pm. This time there was a much better variety. I would say there was a couple 8s, mostly middle of the road ratings, with a couple dancers that would be on the bottom of the scale. Additionally, they had several white, AA, and at least one Puerto Rican girl. It was a really good variety.
It is really dark inside and hard to see much, but it seemed that half of the tables were filled but I found one between the stage and VIP area. By the main stage, there was a board with the names of the dancers and a countdown clock for each song (each song was approximately 3 minutes long). One dancers went up at a time and the first song was topless, and 2nd the bottoms came off but it seemed as if the dancer would either start late or end early. Occasionally, there was a little down time on the stage. Especially if the previous dancer was not as popular (they would leave early if no one was tipping).
Unlike last time, I did find several dancers that were appealing to me. I decided to do a couple of private dances (quoted as $25 per song). They were decent. 2 way touching was allowed, but not a lot of grinding. Just an average lap dance. Not a lot of privacy either. Just a small booth that may have a curtain, but it stayed mostly open. Anybody could watch if they wanted.
I did see another girl that i really liked. She was a brunette, that was petite and small boobs and I took her to the VIP area. VIP dances are 15 min for $140, 30 for $250, and 60 for $450. I did the 15 minutes, and paid upfront. It was a really good dance, lots of touching and grinding on a small couch/love seat. I was really happy after 15 minutes (i forgot to set a timer, but i am sure it was close to 15 minutes). Nobody bothered us as it is an area mostly walled off (probably 6 foot office cubicle walls) from the main stage area. A lot more private. I think there was a camera, but it was hard to tell. Not sure if this is a club with extras, but i am sure you could have a lot of fun with the right girl.
I am glad that i came back and tried it again. Much better this time around. I miss SOCOs, but maybe this can be a new go to spot when I am in the Quad Cities.
