***This place is now called Sheer***

This is my local spot, right down the street, and while being very hesitant at first to go I've gone a few times since. Basically its nothing special, but not awful either. Its right in front of the well-lit train station which makes you feel better about being in an otherwise seedy area. Bar itself is okay, lots of tv's with sports, few pool tables, and a large rectangular stage with a wraparound bar. If you sit at the bar you have to buy drinks, and you have to tip the dancers. 1-2 of them will dance on stage while 1-2 will make their rounds around the bar. Some will shake it and work for a dollar, some will literally just pace the bar and expect you to tip.

The important stuff: The value here is decent. Drinks are cheap, dances are 20$ in a back room where yes there is a bouncer who plays the music/keeps the corner of his eye out for shenanigans but mostly doesn't care and the dancers will definitely put some effort into their grind. They will make your 20 worthwhile. If you go on a tuesday, you get 2 dances for the price of one, which is a hell of a deal.
