Having read many reviews on this site and others raving about the club, I decided to take a walk on the dark side myself. I had no idea how literally dark the club would be. It took my sun-drenched eyes several minutes to adjust to the cave-like darkness of the dance part of the club. But before getting inside, let me take you thru the steps of getting to EI.Parking is extremely challenging. I arrived around 530 on a Friday afternoon, and made the monumental error of pulling into the tiny parking lot surrounding the complex of barber shop, bar, BBQ and dance club. I quicklly discovered there were no parking spaces vacant, and very little room to even turn around. Then I ran into the problem of cars pulling thru the take out window, completely blocking the exit. After about 15 minutes I finally got off the lot, then spent the next few minutes driving up and down the road looking for any kind of parking spot. Finally settled on the veterinary crematorium nearby, which appeared to be closed for the day. Im still not sure if this is an entierly safe place to park, as when I asked the dude collecting cover charges about it, he had no idea and couldnt care less.

When I left the outer bar area and entered the inner sanctum where the action is, I just stood in one place for over 5 minutes, waiting for my pupils to enlarge enough to see where to sit. While I was waiting, a tall thin woman whose stilletto heels made her appear even taller, appeared and began chatting me up. She led me hand in hand to the other side of the club, where I was able to sit down, and she plopped down in my lap to give me a totally nude lap. After a few minutes, I asked if there was a more private place, and she suggested the VIP room. After paying the entry fee (was it $10 or $20? I cant remember) we entered an equally dark room which had a window looking out into the larger dance area. There was a dim light available, but I opted for darkeness and more privacy. What went on in the VIP room was consistent with most other reports about this area, so I wont go into any details. Suffice it to say, I left a happy and satisfied man,now sold on the legend of EI. One more thing, some guys have asked about whether this place is for AA men only, or is welcoming to whites, my experience indicates, everyone who comes with cash is welcome. THe neighborhood is a little dicey, and the dearth of parking requires walking a distance to the club, so its probably a better idea to come during daylight hours, when the best talent is available as well.
