I decided to give PT’s a roll of the dice as I was passing through Indianapolis early in the evening. It is not far off of the interstate and located in a plaza next to Indy Pawn. The cover was $5 and in-and-out privileges were granted for the rest of the evening. The inside was well-designed and clean. There were three stages in the front room: the center one with a pole and the flanking stages were tabletop. Two stages were in the back room, both tabletop. My only complaint about the interior was that the bar was small, maybe just four stools. The bar seemed to be ground zero for PT’s Kmart crowd. Drinks were a bit pricey. A three-sip glass of Pepsi cost $4.25. A draft beer was $8.25 and served in a decent-sized mug. A shot of whiskey that I bought for a dancer was $7.75. Does the club really need to milk you for an extra fraction of a dollar on every drink? Can’t they round prices up or down so change does not have to be dealt with? The club bills itself as upscale, but the soap dispensers in the washroom did not even have soap in them, quite unsanitary. Avoid the ATM. The fee is $6 or 10% of the transaction, whichever is greater. For eaxample, if you take out $200, they will hit you with a $20 fee.

PT’s talent all seemed to be in the 7 to 8 range, but during the whole time I was in the club, there were no more than four dancers working at a given time. Dancers' attitudes were not as good as those at other Indy clubs. Lap dances take place in a corner of the club. You must pay a troll a one-time $5 for a wristband in order to get lappers: classic VCG nickeling and diming. There are booths, but privacy is minimal due to a club employee watching over the lap dance area. There are mirrors across from where you sit in the booths allowing the club employee to watch your interaction with the dancer as much as he wants. It was very creepy the way he was staring into my booth the whenever I was getting lap dances. Nothing extra is going to happen back there. Every dancer charges a different price for lap dances. The lowest they can charge is $25, but many charge $30, $40, and even $50. It is ridiculous. Dancers pay the club $5 of every lap dance she gives, so if a dancer charges $25, she nets $20. The troll back there counts dances to make sure the club gets their cut from the dancers, which benefits the patron in cases where dancers try to overcount.

The first dancer I took back was Savannah. She charged $25 per dance. She had a nice body but her dances were uninspiring. She stayed in the same position for multiple songs, not doing much for me. When it was time to pay up she tried to claim we did one more song than we actually did, but when I refused to overpay, she pretended like she was joking. She had no case with the voyeuristic club employee counting. The second dancer I took back was Casey. She charged $30 per dance, claiming she wanted to net $25 after the club took their fee. Her grind was slightly more erotic, but watching the troll through the mirror’s reflection was a mood killer. I stopped at two and the $60 spent was not worth it. The club has champagne room options of $275 for a half hour and $550 for an hour. I got the feeling that nothing other than regular dances would happen back there.
