Weird access (through a XXX bookstore). On-street parking was plentiful, and it's on a major road so there's no "late at night" fear factor at play. Inside, the place looks like a cinderblock basement rebuilt to be a 17-year old's low-budget vision of a strip club: low stage, cheaply-constructed "bar" with a fridge and some shelves holding juices/sodas and glasses, a hot-dog heater... you get the idea. Cheap, dim lighting; low-end industrial carpeting; not a glass and chrome palace. Sound system was pretty good, though.
Went on a Monday night, so I think everyone was recovering from the weekend. Only four dancers, and they were mostly laid back. Lap dances not heavy on the grind, not heavy on the cuddle, but were pretty fun nonetheless. I'm not sure they're worth $30 each, though.
The lap dance area isn't completely private; when multiple dancers are working it, you can see the other players at least somewhat. I couldn't get a feel for just how observant the manager was and how much a factor that played in things; this was my first visit to the place, and I was still figuring out what was where.
