This is a fairly plush club...

This is a fairly plush club with considerable variability in the quality of the dancers that I have visited several times over the last month or so. This is one of those places where the club does its best to communicate to you that it is 'classy' and a 'gentleman's' club. The chairs are covered in a velvet-like velour, the stage is big, and the dancers are all required to wear 'evening' dress. The upside is that the club appears reasonably clean and it is reasonably comfortable. The downsides are that the dancers are denied the ability to costume themselves as they wish, there is a coolness that inevitably accompanies the formality, and the dancing tends to be lackluster. (One dancer told me, for example, that she would love to wear blue-jean cutoffs and a tight ripped t-shirt for a hot trailer slut look, but it was against the rules. I think that is a pity.) Some aspects of the club need maintenance; some of the cushions on lap-dance chairs have long since split open. I ordered chicken fingers in two occasions; both times they were adequate but uninteresting. This is relevant because the club has some kind of a quasi-fancy steak house restaurant that occupies pride of place as you come in, but which I would not patronize because, if you can't do really good chicken fingers, what are the chances you can produce a good steak?

As to the dancers, I found them variable. (I only visited during the daytime, so this may be a factor in my impressions.) On one visit, virtually every woman in the place seemed to be in her forties. (I prefer a club where there is diversity in dancers, including in age.) Missile-shaped augmentations are too common. And every single dancer seems to be shaved completely -- again, my preference is for some variety and diversity here, allowing for personal expression amongst the dancers. I gave the club a '7' for dancer quality because of how disappointing I found the spectrum on some visits, but there were other visits when it was definitely an '8'. If the club is going through an upward transition at the moment, that may explain my experience to some extent. Table dances and lap dances can be very good, but some dancers are quite pushy.

Overall, I will say that this place is trying a bit too hard to push the elite luxury approach when the experience it is providing is more middle-ground. I give it a solid C.
