As a former stripper myself, I'm usually pretty impartial to strip clubs and I don't find myself travelling to many very often. So when a male friend of mine dragged me into Deja Vu on a Sunday evening- I was pleasantly surprised. Rewinding a bit, you're greeted by the same promoters outdoors trying to get you to come inside for whatever reason but once you leave the main street the entrance is very professional and discreet. We chose the VIP mainly because of the option to come back any time that night and discounted drinks. The club has a Moulin Rouge vibe. The lower level is set up with a main stage with two spinning poles and it has an open, club-like atmosphere. We headed straight to VIP which was set up much like a private 20's french cabaret complete with a mini wet bar where you can sit and talk to girls. There is another stage and pole in VIP.

Deja Vu impressed me in both the variation of size and ethnicity of their girls. Every girl was very professional- none of the music is extremely loud and instead is put at a level where you can enjoy the girl on stage but still converse with whichever girl you chose. All were quite gorgeous. My male friend and I chose a particular girl and spent quite a bit of time in the lap dance room with her where even I was entertained. The girls all rotate downstairs and upstairs so even if you can't afford VIP you'll still see the best dancers.

All in all I had a wonderful experience especially from my point of view. I would definitely return again if I still lived in the area and would say that it is a place on Bourbon worth at least taking a peek at.
