First of all, this club changed...

First of all, this club changed hands about 10 months ago. It is now one of the Scores chain, and is called Scores-Fort Lauderdale. As I understand it, the new management made several changes to the decor, the most important being private rooms around the stage.

As you enter, the left 1/3 of the club is bar. It is separated by a railing from the main floor tables which lead up to a large stage on the right wall. During the day, the stage dances are done on a small stage at the rail to the bar, and most people either sit at the bar or in tables right next to the rail and small stage. My understanding is that the large stage is used beginning when the night shift comes in at 7. The main floor of the club has a back wall bar, and on the other side is an upscale restaurant. The room looks inviting, the menu looks excellent and the prices aren't too bad, but I didn't get a chance to have dinner.

Dances are $10 at the bar, $25 in a room behind the bar, and "by time" in the private rooms around the stage; 20-25 minutes is $125 ($25 to the bar, $100 to the dancer), 40 minutes is $200 ($50-$150), and there are various deals for longer periods of time. The manager comes and knocks when the time is up. There are curtains over the private rooms, and the rooms are a little darker than the club, so there is some degree of difficulty in seeing in and there is a pretty high degree of privacy.
