This remains my favorite club. The Downer consists of a fairly large, rectangular open area, with the main stage in the middle, and a small circular ancillary stage to the right (as you enter). VIP areas of various types are on either end of the rectangle; both contain booths for some slight privacy, while one VIP area (off to the left as you enter) also has some open seating (which both dancers and patrons tend to avoid). Club negatives: the place is somewhat dingy, and the bathrooms in particular can be nasty.

The US dollar does not go as far as did in the good ol' days, but lap dances at $20 a pop offer serious grinding and plenty of hands-on contact from both parties. Full nudity is a big plus, though the vast majority of dancers frown on patrons touching them between the legs. As a patron, you might receive some light stick-shifting, but extras are unlikely (though not completely unheard of).

Why is this my favorite club? I go to strip clubs to get dances and get off, and nowhere does the latter happen more reliably than here. Not all dancers are engaging, playful, and willing, but enough are so that disappointment is rare. A recent Sunday evening visit was on the quiet side (about a 1-1 patron-dancer ratio), but that works in my favor. Got dances from 3 or 4 ladies, two of home provided fully satisfying grinding lap dances. I hope to return, hopefully once the weather warms up a bit.
