I know - when you're in the Boston area it's best to go to Providence. Unfortunately, my schedule didn't permit me to indulge in that arena, so I was limited to the Boston clubs. Picked this one based on the overall ratings, and seems pretty consistent with others' commments. The first thing I can say is it's crazy expensive - particularly if you want a drink or quality time with one of the dancers. Anything with liquor - even a shot - was $17, so I opted for the $10 beer. I will say the "bouncers" there are very nice and helpful. I sat down for like 3 minutes, and I usually like to take in the scenery before committing to a dance. But one of the hosts brought over a girl who was PERFECT for my tastes (how did he know?)! Petite, natural, really pretty and very sweet. We ended up going to the Champagne room upstairs for a more private visit. The area was really nice but boy did the $ add up! Mileage was medium - the occasionaly brush-grind but not enough to get too far along (if you know what I mean). I did have a nice time, so if you watch your $ you may, too. I'd certainly recommend it vs. other clubs in Boston proper. But if miles-per-buck is your focus, then I'm sure making time for the day-trip to Providence would be more worth your while.
