Scruples is a large club located on a busy section of North Ave, which is a safe neighborhood as they go in Bridgeport. It is non-residential with lots of car dealers nearby. There is a second parking lot adjacent with a guard, just in case.

Inside the club is T shaped with the bar along the crossbar the stage in the leg and the private dance area in the base of the leg. I was here on early on a Thursday evening and it was just getting started after 7:00PM The stage is pretty typical with chairs all around three sides and dancers attend customers at the edge, usually on carpet squares. A buck or two gets a lot of attention and the ladies were mostly quite attractive the time I was there. Private dances are held in a separate area in upholstered chairslined up behind a sholder high wall. It's private to the rest of the bar but not to the rest of the separate dance area.

Private dances are as high mileage as you can get without any overt acts. There is some hustle for dances but not too bad and a simple no thanks works. There were plenty of dancers (lotsa 7's, 8's and at least one 9) and most appeared to be regulars there.
