During the days of the dot...

During the days of the dot com boom and unlimited stupid money on the west side, this place pretty much equalled any club I've ever been in, at least for dancer's looks, stage performances, and physical layout. And then, it started a decade long decline, as more clubs in town opened up, the owners moved on to other interests, and the nuts and bolts of the club regressed while prices went up. With that in mind for several years and dozens of other venues in town I'd forgotten about this place until I ran into one of the bartenders who suggested I give it a try again.

So I did. Had fun at the bar, had fun at the stage, had fun with the private dances. I wasn't going to partake of anything but stage tipping when I first entered last Tuesday night, and then I tried a Stars signature airdance from a brunette cutie who actually took the time to chat before the wannadance line. I enjoyed it so much, I bought a 1/2 of her time in the NE corner of the club. The seating was anything but private and was surprisingly shabby, but the dancer was entertaining enough that I immediately forgot about both and had a great time.

Quick summary: I had stopped coming in here for a couple of years, and now have it back on my "must see" list. It's still not cheap by any means, but at least I feel like I'm getting some entertainment for my trouble when I visit. Service has improved, dance quality has skyrocketed, and the looks and attitudes of the dancers are much improved as well.
