Let's start with the time and day of the week. I went I'm JUST after opening on an otherwise nondescript Saturday. One bartender, one old fart and me in the bar. I was overcharged for the drink I ordered (per their pricing categories). Eventually, the only dancer in the place came out. She was cute. Not a bbw, but not skinny either. Since I was the only patron in the bar, outside of another old (this one gave me really weird vibes) fart who was sitting next to the (I'm going to guess owner) I was the only outlet for the dancer's attention. Since the place is close to the borders of 3 states, I asked about rules. She said the place was about the drink hustle. No private dances. She can touch me while she drinks her drink, but I'm not allowed to touch her. The drinks started at $38 and went up in $10 dollar increments. She alluded to guys coming into strip bars wanting to see the girl outside the strip club (and be compensated for her time, but this is not an act of prostitution and anything that does happen is between two consenting adults).

As I was on my way out, another patron had come in. This was a bearded, toothless guy I had seen walking down the street before I entered the bar. Some people fit in a place. Some seem classier, some seem lower class. The dancer was classier. Toothless guy was at the other end.

I'll leave it there, but I wish Newport/Covington would get over themselves and allow topless private dances instead of acting like this sort of thing doesn't happen.
