Sunset Strip is a great club....

Sunset Strip is a great club. First of all let me say that it is clean and new. I mean new. Hands down, this is the CLEANEST club in Houston. You can still smell the fresh leather, fresh paint and wood all over. The bar is clean, on the left as you walk in. Center stage straight ahead, second bar and smaller stages to the left. Some of the comments on here are true, I will admit. It is a bit dead most of the time, but if you consider the fact that it is in a weird location and doesn't get much press, you will agree, that's just the way it is. I came in on a Thursday evening just wanting a place to have a beer and I thought, well why not there. I sat at the bar, got a beer and relaxed. I was approached by a beautiful light skin black girl and we got to talking. I bought her a drink, (which was not extra, it was just the 6 bucks for the drink) and we talked FOR SERIOUSLY ABOUT AN HOUR. She never asked me for a dance, she never was pushy. Eventually, I did get a few but after we got to know each other, which I think made them better. They do wear the pasties thing which is a staple inside the city limits, womp womp.

The girls range I think is mostly hispanic and black. There are a few white girls and white complected hispanic girls as well. Most of them range from about a solid 7 to 9. I didn't see anything super super hot. But I liked their easy going demeanor, in the times that I was sitting alone, they mostly just smiled and said hi. Nothing pushy.

The outside was nice as well, very comfortable with huge fans to clear the smoke outside. Large couches and nice tables. Again, clean. There was a guy walking around cleaning tables. I can't say how important that is. I hate dirty crappy old bars. I'm putting this place in the rotation and giving it a few more tries during peak hours to see how it really gets. Overall, well priced, good booze selection, nice looking girls and clean place. You can go at it on Westheimer, I'll be right here.
