Tried something new

I was in Houston for 36 hours and wanted to sneak in a quick trip Friday night before an early morning flight Saturday. Got there around 8PM and the large parking lot had plenty of space left. Paid the cover ($20, I think) and went to the main floor.

I should add here that I thought I’d be OK with my very basic Spanish skills, but apparently they don’t really teach you in school the most useful words for this hobby. This, combined with some pretty aggressive hustle tactics, I was a little less comfortable pushing limits or doing any sort of negotiating than I normally would be.

The layout itself was clean and pretty standard for a modern club. There was a bar area along one side of the room, the main stage on the other, and tables to sit and drink in between.
