I was in Indy back in...
I was in Indy back in August for a good, fun-filled vacation, and a big part of that fun was making a strip club crawl. On my last night, I finally decided to check out the Red Garter. There were a couple things that made me hesitate. 1) It was after midnight, and I wanted to hit the road first thing in the morning. Not that an eleven-hour drive is something to look forward to, but sleep is always nice. 2) A few years ago on another site, I read some disparaging remarks of the place, remarks that made me imagine a very low-end and disgusting club. Still, the libido was off its leash….
The cover was minor, just five dollars, and the man up front amiable enough, so no alarms were going off. But when I walked into the club proper, my jaw dropped – the place was beautiful, very classy, very high end. Looking at the club and the beautiful ladies, both the servers working the floor and the dancers on the various stages, my first thought was that Hugh Hefner would get the school-boy giggles walking into this place. A server offered to show me to a table, but I needed to take care of some business real quick. When I got back a couple minutes later, she was gone, but a cute, girl-next-door blonde came out of nowhere and started playfully flogging me with her bikini top, a mature woman with long brown hair quick on her heels, I think trying to stop her. I was a bit confused as to what was going on, but played along and started scampering away from her from the flogger.
I didn’t go too far away though; didn’t really want to. Both ladies caught up and they offered to show me to a table. There were free tables, where apparently only one dancer could sit down with a guy, and there were the booths, which I thought the brunette said were $20/hour, where multiple dancers can join you. Interesting concept that but since I was only planning on being there for about an hour, I figured what the hey and so off we went.
