As mentioned before, we’re fast approaching the peak season for tourism in New Orleans. That (should) mean you should see a noticeable difference in the quality of strippers now and during the slow months of summer. While Visions Men’s Club isn’t a tourist club, the influx of tourists usually results in more locals staying away from the Quarter and heading to Visions.

I went to Visions on Friday night and then Saturday afternoon (around 3:00pm) to see if things were getting better over there. For the most part, they aren’t. It’s not that the club is empty (although it’s not as crowded as I expected). There are some attractive girls, but the majority are bottom-rung girls. And this is just from casual observation, but it seems like customers aren’t even getting as many dances. The VIP and champagne rooms used to have waiting lines on weekends and Friday nights. Hell, even Friday afternoons used to have both bars open and nearly full with customers. I have no idea what’s going on with that place, but it’s in decline. The quality of girls is deteriorating.

I’m not sure if the culture of the club has changed (meaning are managers still looking the other way when *extras* go down in the Party Rooms). I know they got rid of one of the managers who was pretty laid back and popular with the girls, so maybe that has something to do with it. But this club used to have tons of girls, of all varieties. Friday night had a decent number of dancers, but very few stunners. Saturday afternoon had few dancers period. I’ll give it a few more tries, but I may have to stay on Bourbon from now on.
