Dropped in on my way from Nasvhville to Memphis. Easy to find. Get off the interstate at exit 126 going south. There's a Days Inn on the right, then an adult bookstore. On the left after this you'll see a large sign next to a dirt road. Take that, and you'll see an old dinner with lots of gravel parking for trucks. That's the strip club. Inside is a bar to the right, and to the left a second room with a large stage. The bar is well lighted, but the strip club part was almost completely dark when I came in. Stumble around and you'll find some chairs and cocktail tables. When I was there, one dancer was too big to be dancing, the rest were skinny as a rail. Other days you might find a different ratio, but its mostly corn-fed locals, I think. All white. There's a couch dance room to the left of the stage, and while I never was asked for a dance, I could see signs prominently in there saying keep your hands to your side. On the right of the stage there's another room. I saw one guy taking a dancer into each. For a while they couldn't find the light in the second room so I thought it stayed dark. Then a couple of employees came in an turned on what were basically disco balls on the tables, turning a dark room into a well, but strangely light one. I guess that's the champaign room, without champaign no doubt. If there was more light at the stage you could see pussy here as they go nude. As it is you know there's a naked woman there, but to see her you really need to stand by the rail. As a result, one guy after another went up the rail, handed over a couple of dollars, and gawked. Then someone else came up. I guess the dancers were all sitting with regulars. I'm sure I could have gotten a dance if I'd waited long enough, but it didn't seem worth it. On the plus side, you can get drunk at the bar, then watch naked women, then get pulled over on the way out by the state police. Can't do that as easily in Nashville, where all the clubs are BYOB. Or you can do what I did, stop for a half hour, get a water and chill from a long drive, then leave less than $20 poorer. Not bad if your expectations are low.
