Well, I stayed in Midnight Express...

Well, I stayed in Midnight Express for about five minutes (see my other review), and the Watering Hole for closer to three hours. Enough said? Clubs are about similar size, Watering Hole had maybe a couple more customers but then again, maybe just the same. The big difference was that they had twice as many dancers (I'm going to say they had 7, but I didn't count accurately), they actually danced on the stage, and they were friendlier. At Midnight Express one dancer drove me away, and the others were hanging out at the bar with regulars. I left Midnight Express with $$$ in my pocket, and had to leave Watering Hole to find an ATM after I'd gone through said $$$.

So from a customer's perspective Watering Hole is clearly better. I think I was the big spender while I was there (unusual for me); other customers were getting dances, but not as many. So maybe either club would do better to have 3 dancers milk the regulars than bring in 7 hoping for an out-of-towner who'll just visit occasionally. My guess is that dancers at Watering Hole aren't averaging a lot most weekdays, but are doing better than those at Midnight Express. But there's so much variation from dancer to dancer, and night to night, that it's hard to say.

I got dances from three ladies, and saw a couple others dance. Lap dances are held behind a half wall, with latticework above it, which serves to separate a row of cubicles, also separated from each other by half walls without lattice. Two folding chairs per cubicle, one for the customer and one for the dancer, though the dances are mostly on the customer. Someone could stand by the wall and look in if they wanted, but it would look obvious unless the place was really crowded. Sitting down, the customer can see the head and maybe boobs of the dancer in the next cubicle, depending on how high she's standing, but it feels fairly private unless someone wants to get to a cubicle further in. Then your dancer will likely have to make way because the aisle is tight, so the new customer and dancer can look at you and whatever you're up to, but just briefly, and generally they seemed to know better than to look too much. After all, they're following their own dancer wearing skimpy underwear.
