This club has a good location,...
This club has a good location, downtown near a lot of hotels and right on historic Printers Alley. Unfortunately the owners seem unwilling to invest in it. The inside of the club is completely run down. It's an old and apparently historic building, so they really should gut the place and start over. If they made it an upscale club, I think even in Nashville they could get good dancers. Instead, they have a couple of fairly attractive ladies who come in very late, and otherwise it's a mix of the overweight and over-age, women who should just not be dancing. A bar up front and a main room with a long stage, plus one lap dance room and two back rooms for private dances. All the finishes are both cheap and old, worn carpet and tears in the sofas in the back room. Dancers act desperate, generally one or two latching onto you when you first enter and not leaving because they're trying to fend off their fellow dancers. I've been dragged here a couple of times by friends, and in my opinion the best thing about this place is leaving it and going anywhere else. This is probably the harshest review I've ever written, but the place oddly has a lot of promise. The building and location have real value, but a quarter to half million dollars to completely gut and renovate the space would pay off. As it is, the owners can't be making much money, just milking it for what little they can make. The building would earn more as an upscale restaurant than a strip club. The only reason my monetary value rating is as high as a four is because you're unlikely to actually spend money in here other than the cover.
