As yet another incarnation for this...

As yet another incarnation for this large club. A brief description of its history I got from a dancr was it started as Jaguars (owned by Cheetahs - get it), then Scores, Ricks and Now Cover Girls.

I arrived about 10pm on Friday night wondering if it would be busy based on the reviews here and word I got about the place from dancers at another club. They were all right. I drove myself and had to park all the way in the self parking lot in the back as all the front and side places were reserved for valet. After 10pm, I expected a cover charge but was simply waved in. It's an open 2 story club, typical upscale decor vaguely tacky classical in nature. There were floor tables in front of a very high stage (shoulder height when sitting at the rail). I opted to sit at the bar and thankfully was pointed to a ramp off to the left side of the entrance which skirted around the crowd of floor tables. Surprised to see quite a few people at the bar. This bar was long with flatscreens playing sports behind. There's another a bit out of the way after the stage across from the restrooms. More seating in that area too.

Drinks were I'd say, standard expensive for Vegas. My scotch was $13, high but acceptable. Real pretty, friendly and attentive bartenders and wait staff in red bustiers. Professional and courteous floor men and mgmt. They are trying really hard to make this an upscale place. Wish they could do better with the dancers though. Probably only 12-15 dancers as far as I could count. 7's were about the highest there were and it seemed to take a long time, even in a mostly empty place at the start for a girl to come over. The first of the night for me was a tall blond I had tipped well at the stage. She came to see me after quite a bit of time to the point I was thinking she wasn't coming over. Early 20's, from the midwest, a budding model with photos on her phone. The camera was allot more friendly to her than real life is, pushing her to an 8 or 9 in the digital realm. Okay conversation about her and her modeling career and no pressure.
