sad to say that the sun has set for the legendary sundowner. this place is not even close to what it was a year ago, it wasn't so great then and even worse now. limited number of girls due to management disputes with the owner and the overcharging of dancers from out of town, the variety is not there anymore and the montreal girls are long gone, so all that is left is the tired old has beens that are living in niagara falls, a few and very far between 'girl next door type' are occasionally seen. i saw girls fighting - literally fighting over the guys at one table, girls are seriously over charging and ripping off the few customers that are there. the place was empty and the atmosphere tense, desperate and intense. i went to work for the season again this year but was told by management that the 'numbers of customers' are way down from last year, was told not to expect any decent money as the guys that are there are not spending on dances, then was hit with the extra high fee of 100 per night house fee, (that is with still going on stage) told i had to stay at their hotel by penthouse for 45 a night plus ride $$ to club.......... sorry guys this club is done.
