I simply do not understand all...

I simply do not understand all the high reviews of this club. This club has been remodeled several times, so it definitely is not a slum. However, no one knew how to tell the club owner's when to stop. There are huge screens, thousands of strobes and other lights, and various other gratuitous adornments. There are plenty of seats, but the center stage seems quite far from most of them. When in the club, you are bombarded by light shows and other pomp. And then the dancers come on stage. I have been there at various times and can honestly say none of them are anything special. The kicker though is that with all the flashing lights and other crap, it is difficult to even see what the dancers actually look like. When they do come around, most of them are older and pushy.

The worst part of Scarlett's is the drink price. The have virtually no happy hour or specials (at least not when I have been there) and the drinks, although not outrageous, are still overpriced. This is especially apparent when Tootsies has very sweet happy hour specials. It amazes me that his club can even stay in business.
