You could call this place the Adelita's of the tri-state area.
Unfortunately, doing so would only make you miss the real thing even more.
There are a number of upsides to this place: no cover, decent music that isn't played played above 80 decibels, friendly bartenders, sports always on the tv- and no one gets offended if you want to watch the tube instead. Aside from the high drink prices ($5 for a soda that tasted rotten), you can actually get away with paying very little in this club, because there is only the one stage, and each girl dances for 3 songs before doing the rounds for tips. Dancers skills are not on the high end, but full exposure on stage is not uncommon.
