The club manager retired and the owner has closed the club. It dies have a for sale sign on the club. The bad part is if sells, it can never be another strip club. Under the City of Rock Islands grandfather clause, the only way it can reopen as a strip club is if the current owner is at least a part owner of a new club. The owner was quoted as saying he longer wishes to be involved. So when the club does sell it will no longer qualify for a cabaret license. That will leave the Body Shop as the only strip club in Rock Island. Since RI seeks to close all the cabaret licenses; there will be no cabaret license created to fill the void.
