First time back in Atlanta in...

First time back in Atlanta in a long time. I went straight to the Pony. It sure has changed since the last time I was there. Maybe my memory has been addled by too many SC evenings but . . . .

The first impression as you walk in is rather off-putting. You get frisked on the steps outside before you even get to the door. I had heard that Atlanta clubs were pretty high mileage but this is ridiculous. I also found it irritating that I was hit up for the "It's $3 to park" valet deal even when I parked my own car. I think this is scam that the doorman runs for himself.

This was my first stop of an evening devoted to SC reconnaissance (see also: TattleTales and Follies). This club is definitely couples friendly. I'd estimate that at least 30% of the patrons were women. Most of them were there with a husband or BF, but there was a lesbian couple as well which I find to be very hot.
