My first visit to Montreal so...

My first visit to Montreal so I was excited to hit the SCs because I heard so many good things about them. Disappointed doesn't even come close to what I was expecting. Made it to 3 SCs over two nights Cafe Cleopatra was the first. Not in the best area of town as others have mentioned, but I did not feel unsafe. No cover, but required to tip the bouncer. No specific amount. I think I tipped 2 or 3 dollars, I don't really remember. The place is cramped with a small stage. The talent... well let's just say the girls were not my type. There was definitely a mixed bag of talent, from the very large to down right fugly (I would have rated dancers a 1, but at least they weren't mean) That said, guys were still taking girls to VIP. To each their own, I suppose... There was one dancer with whom I might have considered getting close with, but the limited VIP section meant long queues and I wasn't about to waste anymore time waiting around for 1) her to become available and 2) a VIP cubicle to open up. I ended up leaving after 20 minutes.
